How to record a page
Open today and tap the orb. Speak, then tap again to stop. Inkday transcribes on your iPhone. One page per day; missed days can be filled in later within the free 30-day window, or anytime after you unlock the archive.
Microphone or transcription
If recording does nothing, iOS may have denied the microphone. Open the alert’s Settings button, or iOS Settings → Inkday → Microphone. Transcription uses Apple’s on-device speech support for the languages on your iPhone. The first time a language is used, Apple may download a speech model.
Reminders
Settings → Reminder. Inkday sends at most one local notification a day, at the time you choose. No badges and no follow-ups.
Unlock and restore
The last 30 days are always readable. Older pages stay on the device but are locked until a one-time In-App Purchase. There is no subscription. If you already bought the unlock, use Settings → Restore purchase (Apple ID must match).
Delete a page
Long-press a page, or use Delete on a page you created today. Transcript and audio are removed from the iPhone immediately.
